Weekend Wrap-Up

This past weekend was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable weekends that could not have gone any better. With my job being extremely busy these past few months, I was looking forward to this vacation for numerous reasons. One being warm weather alongside blue waters and another being seeing friends I haven’t seen in a while.

Backtrack to getting engaged last year, one of the first things that was quickly decided is where my bachelorette party would take place. I was debating between a beach or a winery, which is a little comical considering I only burn in the sun. However, after realizing I wanted a weekend alone with my girlfriends drinking piña coladas by the pool, Cancun was the best option!

Once we arrived and walked out on our balcony to this view, I knew we made the right decision! After a full day of traveling, we were ready to hit the most incredible infinity pool and sip on a refreshing summer cocktail!  #toomanypiñacoladas

Let’s just say, I have the most amazing friends. They planned this entire weekend perfectly! In her true fashion, my maid of honor was on top of it all. With solidifying our travel arrangements, dinner reservations and even surprising me with gifts, she did not miss a beat. #sograteful

My bridesmaids even ordered these personalized cups, I mean ya’ll – how cute are these! They definitely came in handy all weekend. They also purchased these adorable flamingo drink floaties for the pool!

We sipped on mimosas, piña coladas, and numerous other frozen drinks. We enjoyed steak, hibachi, and never ending guacamole. We laughed, we talked, and most importantly enjoyed each others company. There are no words to express how truly grateful I am for such an enjoyable yet relaxing bachelorette weekend.

If you ever in Cancun, I highly recommend the Iberostar! Cheers to our successful girls weekend!

Happy Wednesday!
