I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – give me all the leopard! Anyone else feel the same?
Well, before we get into the details about this popover, I thought I would share a little something with you all. I know I’ve mentioned it before but our wedding is approaching so quickly. Can someone please tell me where the time went? I remember when we started this journey and I thought these days would never get here.
Ever since getting engaged (here in NJ!) we decided to get married back in my home state, the Lone Star State (good ol’ TX!). When we began this journey, we started keeping a countdown (doesn’t everyone?) for the next 450 days. At first, I decided to not update it until a year out, because let’s be honest – 450 days feels like a lifetime. I couldn’t believe how fast the first few months flew by and we were about a year away. From then, we’ve updated that countdown every.single.day.
Now that we are a little under 20 days away, it’s time to get serious. Not that I wasn’t ever serious before, but now that we are a few weeks out the reality is beginning to set in. We have our schedule of events completed, guests confirmed, dinner set, and just almost everything finalized. Yet, for some reason, I still feel like there is so much to do. Anyone else ever feel this way?
Regardless of it all, these days are so happy and so joyful. We are so grateful for our many friends and family flying in for the occasion. We couldn’t be happier and are ready for these remaining few days to fly by.
Speaking of things that make me happy, gingham and leopard. I picked up this J. Crew gingham popover (similar one here) and have already worn it multiple times within the last week. It seriously goes with everything. Grab a sweater to throw on over it, layer it with a scarf, or even dress it up with a blazer. Now that Nordstrom is carrying J.Crew, I couldn’t be more pleased! Can you say free shipping and free returns?
I’ve talked about my obsession with leopard before, but these flats are so comfortable (and true to size). Normally it always takes a few days (sometimes even weeks) to break in a new pair of flats. I wore these for an evening out and they were just fine. Pick them up for fall – you won’t regret it!
