Today I’m linking up with a few of my favorite bloggers for Friday Favorites. Can we all just pause for a second and celebrate that today is FRIDAY! I’m not sure if it’s just me – but this week has felt like it’s never ending.
The weekend is near my friends – it’s time to relax, do a happy dance, enjoy a glass of wine, and most importantly celebrate that there is only 6 more weeks of winter!
I have had these Hunter boots for while and love them so much I decided to invest in a new pair. To be completely honest, I highly disliked driving while wearing the tall boots. For some reason, it was always too uncomfortable so I would find myself taking them off before I got in the car and putting them back on when I was ready to get out.
Now, that’s clearly not efficient so after reading so many great reviews of these short ones I decided to give them a go – and haven’t looked back. Between the yellow, red, and blue, the options are endless! I was so torn between the yellow and red ones, and finally decided to stick with these. I’ve worn them so many times already and know they will definitely come in handy throughout the spring!
If you remember from this post, I tend to splurge on skincare products. #guiltyascharged
However, taking care of my skin is one of my top priorities. There’s so many great products out there to fight aging, sensitivity, redness, and fine lines that I always enjoy trying new products out as well. I want to preface this by saying – I typically don’t like to review a product until I’ve tried it out for a while and this one is no exception.
A few years ago, Philip and I went on a cruise and by the second day I was at the spa getting a facial (shocker, I know). After my facial was over, I vividly remember the Esthetician asking me if I would like to purchase the products. I mean, my skin was hydrated and brightened so why wouldn’t I? Well, after looking at the price tag I hesitated and told her I would think about.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I came across Liz’s review of the Elemis Skincare, I instantly had a flashback and remembered the rejuvenating facial I had a few years back. When I saw the savings on the starter kit, I instantly jumped at the chance to try the products out.
For someone who has sensitive skin, I’m often hesitant to spend too much new on products unless I know they will work for me. Now that I’ve been using this cleansing balm for a few weeks, it’s definitely worth trying it out! Not only does it remove makeup and cleanse the skin, it moisturizers at the same time. The majority of makeup wipes/remover have so many harsh chemicals that they dry the skin out. This cleansing balm is packed with oils and nutrients and leave your skin feeling cleansed yet hydrated.
Speaking of hydration, this marine cream is game changing. It brightens and hydrates all while keeping the moisture in without the greasy feeling. Not to mention the facial oil adds that extra needed hydration! Seriously loving the eye cream as well!
Well, with the start of the new year, I had big intentions and accomplishments for 2017…
Let’s just say I’ll have a restart in February since January was a practice run 🙂 Anyone else agree with me here?!
I shared a few of our favorite wedding pictures earlier this week, you can read the post here. Now that we’ve narrowed down our favorites, it’s time to starting making an album! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Hope you all enjoyed your week! Happy Friday friends!
